Going solar in Drewvale
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Drewvale is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Drewvale: history and local area
The Drew family farmed this ground from the 1870s, and locals called it Drewvale for close to a hundred years before it became official. The Queensland Place Names Board formally named the suburb on 1 November 1971. Residential estates such as Trinity Green have since filled in the former farmland on Brisbane's southern fringe.
Right on the border with Logan City, the suburb wraps around the junction of the Gateway and Logan Motorways, with a small section reaching down to Wembley Road. It is roughly 26 km from the CBD. With no schools inside its boundaries, kids travel to Stretton State College nearby, and Griffith University's Logan campus at Meadowbrook is the closest place for tertiary study.
Newer estate homes such as those at Trinity Green tend to have modern roofs and switchboards, which keeps panel layout simple and makes adding a battery near the meter box fairly easy.
