Solar panels in Inala, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Inala, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Inala homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Inala makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Inala is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. From Inala to nearby Durack and Richlands, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Inala
Returned servicemen met at a Brisbane RSL hall in May 1946 and set in motion a new settlement called Serviceton, on land once known as Boylands Pocket. The Queensland Housing Commission bought the ground in 1949 and 1950. On 10 January 1952 the Surveyor-General gave it the name Inala, from a Bundjalung word meaning resting time or night time. Inala State School followed in 1955 and the library in 1963.
The suburb sits on a broad, gently sloping ridge about 22 km south west of the city by road. Inala Plaza and the civic centre form the main hub, backed up by the Biota Street shops and a bus station, with Richlands train station roughly 3 km off. Kev Hooper Park, a skate park and a TAFE campus round things out. Many early homes were built from reinforced concrete on raised foundations.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Inala?
Most Inala homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Inala?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Inala?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Inala 4077 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Inala is part of our Brisbane Southside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Durack, Richlands, Willawong, Darra. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
