Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Pullenvale, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Pullenvale homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Pullenvale makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Pullenvale is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's west takes in leafy riverside suburbs like Indooroopilly, Kenmore and Chapel Hill, the Centenary suburbs, and hillier, tree-lined streets around The Gap, Ashgrove and Ferny Grove where shading needs careful planning. From Pullenvale to nearby Pinjarra Hills and Brookfield, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Plenty of Pullenvale properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Getting to know Pullenvale
Nobody is sure where the name came from. A timber cutter called George Pullen, an Aboriginal word and a version of Bullen Bullen, meaning lonely place, are all suggested, and the area was earlier called Glen Pullen. Timber getting came first, then small crops and dairying. The school opened in March 1874 with 32 pupils, and a former pineapple packing shed became Pullenvale Hall in 1943.
Rolling, bush-covered hills sit at the southern foot of Mount Elphinstone, with Pullen Pullen Creek winding through. Around 3,280 people live on 19.3 square kilometres of mainly rural residential land, 19.3 km by road from the CBD. The CSIRO's QCAT research centre is on Technology Drive, Pullenvale Marketplace has an IGA, and the Moggill Pony Club has been around since 1961.

Solar panels in Pullenvale: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Pullenvale?
Most Pullenvale homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Pullenvale?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Pullenvale?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Pullenvale 4069 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Pullenvale is part of our Brisbane Westside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Pinjarra Hills, Brookfield, Anstead, Westlake. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
