Solar panels in Brookfield, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Brookfield, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Brookfield homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Brookfield makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Brookfield is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's west takes in leafy riverside suburbs like Indooroopilly, Kenmore and Chapel Hill, the Centenary suburbs, and hillier, tree-lined streets around The Gap, Ashgrove and Ferny Grove where shading needs careful planning. From Brookfield to nearby Pullenvale and Kenmore Hills, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Plenty of Brookfield properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Getting to know Brookfield
Loggers and farmers moved in from 1869, the same year a Bible Christian congregation formed. Lucinda Brimblecombe is believed to have named the place after the way Moggill Creek wound through it. The state school opened in March 1871, the post office in 1876 and the Church of the Good Shepherd was consecrated in 1893. The first Brookfield Show was held in 1910.
Spread over 20.6 square kilometres, Brookfield is rural residential country, mostly acreage and large homes with a handful of working farms. About 3,640 people live here, roughly 13 km west of the city. Moggill Creek runs through on its way to the river, and the forested hills of D'Aguilar National Park rise to the north. The general store, public hall and showgrounds remain community hubs.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Brookfield?
Most Brookfield homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Brookfield?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Brookfield?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Brookfield 4069 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Brookfield is part of our Brisbane Westside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Pullenvale, Kenmore Hills, Kenmore, Chapel Hill. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
