Solar Panels Wolffdene: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Wolffdene system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Wolffdene makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Wolffdene is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. We look after Wolffdene and the surrounding suburbs of Windaroo, Logan Village and Bahrs Scrub, so a free on-site measure in 4207 is easy to book.
- Plenty of Wolffdene properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

About Wolffdene
Classes began around 1874 in a church under the name Belivah Provisional School. In March 1892 locals built their own Wolffdene school, with the government chipping in 37 pounds. It became a state school in 1909, closed in 1935, reopened in 1939 and shut for good in 1942. The area made headlines in 1989 when the Goss Government knocked back a proposed Wolffdene Dam on the Albert River.
Wolffdene is a rural locality home to just 266 people spread over 11.1 square kilometres. The Albert River runs along the eastern boundary, and Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road cuts through. It lies about 7.8 kilometres south of Beenleigh. There are no schools today, so children head north to Mount Warren Park or Bahrs Scrub, or south to Cedar Creek.

Solar panels in Wolffdene: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Wolffdene?
Most Wolffdene homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Wolffdene?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Wolffdene?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Wolffdene 4207 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Wolffdene is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Windaroo, Logan Village, Bahrs Scrub, Yatala. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
