Solar repairs and inverter replacement in Ekibin
Health checks, fault finding and inverter replacements for any brand of solar system in Ekibin, including ones we did not install.
Why Ekibin homes choose RS Energy for repairs & upgrades
Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Ekibin homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.
We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. Our repairs & upgrades work in Ekibin also covers neighbouring Annerley, Tarragindi and Greenslopes, all within about 1km.

Ekibin: a local snapshot
Ekibin no longer has its own suburb article and is now treated as part of Tarragindi. The name goes back to a man from the Loyalty Islands who was brought to Queensland in the late 1800s, worked for the Foote family of Ipswich and cleared land on a hill near Sandy Creek. During World War II a field hospital called Ekibin Hospital operated here, remembered today by a memorial park on Cracknell Road.

Repairs & upgrades in Ekibin: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How do I know if my solar system is faulty?
Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.
Do you fix systems you did not install?
Yes. A lot of our repair work in Ekibin is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.
Should I repair or replace my inverter?
If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.
How often should solar panels be checked?
Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.
Do you service Ekibin 4121 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Ekibin is part of our Brisbane Southside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Annerley, Tarragindi, Greenslopes, Fairfield. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
