Why Tanah Merah homes choose RS Energy for repairs & upgrades

Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Tanah Merah homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.

We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.

Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. Our repairs & upgrades work in Tanah Merah also covers neighbouring Loganholme, Bethania and Meadowbrook, all within about 3km.

Tanah Merah: a local snapshot

Tanah Merah was first counted as part of Slacks Creek. The McBride family, who had come to Brisbane from Penang in Malaysia, bought the land and gave it its name, and the Place Names Board made it official in 1971. The biggest change came between 2001 and 2006, when land west of Drews Road was turned into a housing estate and the population grew sharply.

How do I know if my solar system is faulty?

Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.

Do you fix systems you did not install?

Yes. A lot of our repair work in Tanah Merah is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.

Should I repair or replace my inverter?

If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.

How often should solar panels be checked?

Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.

Do you service Tanah Merah 4128 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Tanah Merah is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Loganholme, Bethania, Meadowbrook, Edens Landing. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
