Going solar in Bald Hills
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Bald Hills is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Bald Hills: history and local area
Two small hills on the South Pine River valley floor gave this place its name. It is Yugarabul country, and the first land sales came in 1857. The state school took enrolments from April 1866, making it one of the area's oldest. When the railway arrived, a 500-lot Bald Hills Railway Station Estate went to auction in 1888. St Paul's School opened in 1961.
The South Pine River forms the western boundary and the Pine River the northern one, with Tinchi Tamba Wetlands Reserve along its banks. Cattle still graze on the Bald Hills Flats floodplain. The ABC's 198-metre radio mast is a heritage-listed landmark. Guide Dogs Queensland breeds and trains dogs here, and St Paul's Anglican School teaches more than 1,200 students.
Bushland edges and floodplain land along the Pine rivers mean both shading and flood planning deserve attention, so batteries and inverters should be mounted well above possible water levels.
