Going solar in Geebung
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Geebung is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Geebung: history and local area
The name started with the railway station, which borrowed the Dharug word jibung for the fruit of the geebung shrub. A Baptist church opened in 1925, and during World War II part of the area hosted the Chermside Army Camp. After the war, war-surplus Nissen huts went up on Robinson Road, and the council zoned the north for industry in 1949. Geebung State School opened in 1953.
Life centres on Geebung station on the Caboolture line, which got a road bridge in place of its level crossing in 2014. Industry fills the Robinson Road East area, with homes elsewhere. There are around ten parks, including Downfall Creek Reserve and 7th Brigade Park. Geebung State School and the Gerns Factory Residence are heritage-listed, and St Kevin's School is also here.
With industry clustered around Robinson Road East and homes on the flat ground nearby, many roofs have open sky, and households home during the day can get extra value from adding a battery.
