Going solar in Aspley
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Aspley is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Aspley: history and local area
In the 1860s John Morris ran the Aspley Orangery and Aspley Vineyard, named after Aspley Hall in Nottinghamshire, and that name was made official in 1897. Before then, the blocks sold south of Zillmere Road in 1865 and 1866 were known as Soldier's Flat. The Royal Exchange Hotel opened on Gympie Road in 1875, and a school at Little Cabbage-tree Creek followed in 1890.
Flat land around Little Cabbage Tree Creek gives way to hills on the east and south. Aspley Hypermarket, built in 1984, and Aspley Village, opened in 2008, cover the shopping. Five schools sit within the suburb, including Aspley State High. Marchant Park, given to the community in 1921, is home to the Aspley Hornets and Aspley Devils. Trains are a short trip away at Geebung or Zillmere.
Families with school-aged kids and sporting commitments often have busy evenings, so a battery can carry daytime solar into the after-school and dinner peak.
