Mount Nebo is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Plenty of Mount Nebo properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Mount Nebo: history and local area
Settlement on the mountain began in 1919, when the Highlands Estate was cut into blocks for soldiers returning from World War I. The area was first in the Shire of Esk, then moved to Pine Rivers Shire as boundaries shifted in the 1930s, and joined Moreton Bay in 2008. The state school opened in February 1931 and is still small, with about 30 students in 2017.
The locality takes its name from Mount Nebo itself, a 617 metre peak in the D'Aguilar Range. Most of the land falls inside D'Aguilar National Park, with rural residential blocks in the south. The community hall is the local meeting place and gets a fortnightly visit from the mobile library. High school students go down the hill to Ferny Grove or The Gap.
Homes on Mount Nebo are often surrounded by tall forest and can sit on slopes facing many directions, so a careful shade assessment is essential, and battery backup helps when storms bring down lines.
