Going solar in Runcorn
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Runcorn is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Runcorn: history and local area
The Williams family were first to settle in 1868, and Reverend J. McLaren arrived roughly ten years on, reportedly naming his farm after Runcorn in Cheshire. The Runcorn Estate was subdivided in 1880, the railway and station opened in 1885, and a bone mill started a year later. Warrigal Road Farm dates from 1911, and widespread housing came in the 1960s.
Bulimba Creek borders much of the suburb, and Beenleigh and Warrigal Roads carry most of the traffic. Runcorn and Fruitgrove stations sit on the rail line, and the Queensland State Archives building has been here since 1992. There are 33 council parks, a pony club, Souths United soccer and St Laurence's College playing fields, plus Runcorn State High School.
Much of the housing went up during the 1960s boom, so many roofs and switchboards are decades old, and a quick inspection helps decide whether to replace roof sheets or upgrade wiring alongside a new system.
