Going solar in Seven Hills
Inner Brisbane is full of character: Queenslanders, workers cottages and townhouses on small lots in places like Paddington, West End, New Farm and Bulimba, where neat installs and careful panel layout matter.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Seven Hills is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Seven Hills: history and local area
A Victorian mining company, the Seven Hills Estate Co., lent its name, and the hills themselves carry titles from ancient Rome. Robert George Oates' 1925 subdivision added Roman street names too. The Belmont Tramway ran along the southern edge from 1912 to 1926, trolley buses later served the area, the state school opened in 1960 and the suburb was split from Norman Park in 2001.
Only 1.6 square kilometres, it is home to about 2,730 people and sits 7.8 km east of the city. Hills such as Palatine, Quirinal and Lilian Hill shape the streets, and the 52 hectare Seven Hills Bushland Reserve has signposted walking tracks. Steep heritage footpaths cut between properties. There is no station, though Norman Park and Morningside are walkable from the western side.
Hilly streets and a big bushland reserve mean some roofs catch full sun while others sit in afternoon tree shade, so a proper shade check and possibly panel optimisers are worth considering here.
