Solar panels for Clear Mountain, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Clear Mountain homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Clear Mountain makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Clear Mountain is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. From Clear Mountain to nearby Cashmere and Eatons Hill, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Plenty of Clear Mountain properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Getting to know Clear Mountain
Farming came first, with the creek flats used for corn, vegetables, bananas, pineapples, dairy cows and pigs. Two small schools served the families: Branch Creek ran from 1889 to 1913, and Clear Mountain school opened in 1903 and lasted until 1947. The area was part of Pine Rivers Shire until the 2008 merger into the Moreton Bay Region.
Cedar Creek forms the southern border, Branch Creek drains the higher ground south, and a few short streams run north into Lake Samsonvale. The lookout sits on the northern boundary, and neighbouring state forest is used for mountain biking, walking and horse riding. Most homes are on acreage, with a pocket of rural residential lots in the south east next to Eatons Hill.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Clear Mountain?
Most Clear Mountain homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Clear Mountain?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Clear Mountain?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Clear Mountain 4500 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Clear Mountain is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Cashmere, Eatons Hill, Joyner, Samford Valley. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
