Solar panels in Cleveland, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Cleveland, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Cleveland homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Cleveland makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Cleveland is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The Redlands coast runs from Capalaba and Birkdale through Cleveland and Victoria Point to Redland Bay and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, with plenty of larger blocks around Mount Cotton and Sheldon. From Cleveland to nearby Ormiston and Thornlands, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Being close to the water, Cleveland gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Getting to know Cleveland
Surveyed in 1840 and pitched as a possible seaport in 1841, Cleveland was proclaimed a township in December 1850. A navigation beacon went up on Cleveland Point in 1847, the first school and mail service came in 1861, and trains reached Brisbane in 1889. Rail stopped in 1960 and returned about twenty years later. Raby Bay canal estate works began in 1983.
Sitting on the western shore of Moreton Bay, it is the administrative and cultural centre of the Redlands, with Redland Hospital, the art gallery, performing arts centre, museum and showgrounds. G.J. Walter Park and the lighthouse at Cleveland Point draw weekend crowds, and the Sunday markets are a fixture. Toondah Harbour runs the bay island ferries, while Raby Bay's former mangroves now hold canal homes and a marina.

Solar panels in Cleveland: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Cleveland?
Most Cleveland homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Cleveland?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Cleveland?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them. Near the coast we use stainless fixings and corrosion-resistant racking.
Do you service Cleveland 4163 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Cleveland is part of our Redlands service area in the Redland City Council area, and we regularly work in Ormiston, Thornlands, Alexandra Hills, Wellington Point. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
