Solar panels in Victoria Point, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Victoria Point, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Victoria Point homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Victoria Point makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Victoria Point is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The Redlands coast runs from Capalaba and Birkdale through Cleveland and Victoria Point to Redland Bay and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, with plenty of larger blocks around Mount Cotton and Sheldon. From Victoria Point to nearby Coochiemudlo Island and Thornlands, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Being close to the water, Victoria Point gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Getting to know Victoria Point
The local school started out in 1877 as Redland Bay Provisional School before taking the Victoria Point name in 1880, and a new building opened in 1916. Growth picked up through the 1980s and 1990s, with Redlands Lutheran Primary in 1982, St Rita's in 1993 and the state high school in 1997. The public library followed in 2006.
Facing Moreton Bay, with Eprapah Creek separating it from Thornlands, it is the jumping-off point for the ferry to Coochiemudlo Island. Thompson's Beach is shallow and safe for little ones, and the headland has two boat ramps plus a Volunteer Marine Rescue base. Three shopping centres, a cinema and lakeside restaurants cover daily needs, while Eprapah bushland hosts a Scout and Guide training centre.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Victoria Point?
Most Victoria Point homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Victoria Point?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Victoria Point?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them. Near the coast we use stainless fixings and corrosion-resistant racking.
Do you service Victoria Point 4165 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Victoria Point is part of our Redlands service area in the Redland City Council area, and we regularly work in Coochiemudlo Island, Thornlands, Redland Bay, Macleay Island. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
