Solar panels in Daisy Hill, installed properly
A family solar company that measures your roof, explains the numbers and installs it right the first time.
Why Daisy Hill homes choose RS Energy for solar panels
Plenty of companies sell solar on price alone. We sell it on quality, because a system that is designed and installed well keeps paying you back for decades. Every Daisy Hill quote starts with a free measure of your roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Daisy Hill makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Daisy Hill is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. Our solar panels work in Daisy Hill also covers neighbouring Slacks Creek, Springwood and Priestdale, all within about 3km.

Daisy Hill: a local snapshot
The Dennis family were the first Europeans to settle, with James Dennis arriving in 1864 and land selection starting around 1870. His daughters noticed a daisy bush, Olearia nernstii, blooming across the hill, and the name stuck. The forest was set aside as a timber reserve in 1874, became a state forest in 1917 and a conservation park in 2006. John Paul College opened in 1982.
Much of Daisy Hill is protected bushland in Daisy Hill Conservation Park, and its forest trails are rated among the best mountain bike riding in Australia. The Koala Centre opened in 1995. The Pacific Motorway forms the southern edge. Old St Mark's Anglican Church is heritage-listed, and families have Daisy Hill State School, St Edward the Confessor School and John Paul College close by.

Solar panels in Daisy Hill: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Daisy Hill?
Most Daisy Hill homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Daisy Hill?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Daisy Hill?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Daisy Hill 4127 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Daisy Hill is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Slacks Creek, Springwood, Priestdale, Shailer Park. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
