Going solar in Arundel
The central Gold Coast takes in the high-rise strip from Broadbeach to Main Beach, the canal homes of Bundall, Benowa and Isle of Capri, and family suburbs like Ashmore, Nerang and Carrara.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
Arundel is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Arundel: history and local area
Arundel became an official suburb on 16 September 1989 and has filled out since then as a series of housing estates. Schools came early in that growth, with A.B. Paterson College opening on 1 January 1991 and Arundel State School exactly three years later. More recently, the Arundel Hills Country Club and its golf course closed on 24 May 2022.
Bushland and wetland define the eastern side, where Coombabah Lake Conservation Park follows Coombabah Creek and the Arundel Springs estate backs onto the Coombabah Wetlands. Arundel Plaza, with a Coles, covers everyday shopping, and the Mike Hatcher Raceway on Kendor Street runs speedway and motocross. Biggera Creek Dam provides flood mitigation, and Helensvale station and Harbour Town are a short drive away.
Newer estate homes in Arundel often have simple, open roof lines suited to panels, though houses backing onto the bushland and wetlands should check tree shading on the side facing the reserve before settling on a layout.
