Going solar in Broadbeach Waters
The central Gold Coast takes in the high-rise strip from Broadbeach to Main Beach, the canal homes of Bundall, Benowa and Isle of Capri, and family suburbs like Ashmore, Nerang and Carrara.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
Broadbeach Waters is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Broadbeach Waters: history and local area
Canal living on the Gold Coast began here. In the 1950s developers took their cue from Florida and built Miami Keys and Rio Vista, the first canal estates on the coast. Neighbourhood names like Florida Gardens, Cypress Gardens and Rialto still carry that era. In the south-east corner, Pacific Fair began a $670 million expansion in January 2014 and by 2016 ranked as the fourth largest shopping centre in Australia.
Almost every street here is residential, and most homes sit on or near a man-made canal, with the Nerang River marking the northern edge. Around 33 parks and reserves are scattered through, including Albert Recreational Park and Villa Court Lake. Pacific Fair brings more than 400 specialty stores and a cinema complex. Local children head to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise or Merrimac for school.
Some canal homes here date back to the first estates of the 1950s, so checking the switchboard and roof structure before adding panels or a battery saves surprises on installation day.
