Going solar in Carindale
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Carindale is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Carindale: history and local area
Timber and farming brought the first Europeans in the 1850s, and Belmont State School opened in 1876. The name dates from a 1976 housing estate, joining Carin from nearby Carina with dale, meaning valley. Approval of the shopping centre name followed in 1978, and in 1980 the suburb was created by splitting off part of Belmont. A public library arrived in 1999.
Most people know it for Westfield Carindale, one of the largest Westfields in Brisbane with over 400 stores. Bulimba Creek runs through, Belmont Bushland Reserve adds green space and the Gateway Motorway forms an edge. Pacific Golf Club is here too, along with Citipointe Christian College and two state primary schools. Buses link Old Cleveland Road and Creek Road to the South East Busway, about 13 km from the city.
Estate homes built from the late 1970s onward are usually large family houses with solid tiled or metal roofs, and their air conditioning loads in summer make a well sized battery worth considering.
