Going solar in Mansfield
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Mansfield is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Mansfield: history and local area
On 1 August 1967 the Queensland Place Names Board named the suburb after Sir Alan Mansfield, then Governor of Queensland. Brisbane Adventist College had already opened its primary campus in 1966, and the state school (1970), the college's secondary campus (1973) and Mansfield State High School (1974) soon followed. Christian Outreach College was based here from 1982 before moving on to Carindale.
Schools and churches are so common that locals jokingly call it the "Bible Belt". Mansfield State High, Mansfield State School and the Prep to Year 12 Brisbane Adventist College all sit within the suburb. The Gateway Motorway marks part of the eastern edge, Bulimba Creek is nearby, and the Mansfield Tavern has long been a stop for touring bands.
With three schools in the suburb, many households have kids home by mid-afternoon, when air conditioning and appliances ramp up, a load that solar and a modest battery can help cover.
