Mango Hill is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

  • Newer homes in Mango Hill usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

Mango Hill: history and local area

Locals were calling this area Mango Hill from the 1950s, after the mango trees lining a 700 metre stretch of Anzac Avenue, and the name became official in September 1980. In 2006 the northern part was split off to become North Lakes. Growth has been steep since then, from about 4,300 residents in 2011 to almost 15,000 a decade later.

Mango Hill station opened on the Redcliffe Peninsula line in October 2016, and the heritage listed Anzac Avenue still runs through. Families are well served for schools, with a state primary, a state secondary college that opened in 2020, and two St Benedict's campuses. Danzy Buchanan Park, the community centre and the Kubler tennis courts round things out, while the big shops are next door in North Lakes.

Much of Mango Hill was built in the last 15 years, so many roofs are newer, fairly uniform and free of big old trees, which keeps panel layouts simple and output predictable through the year.
