Going solar in Mudgeeraba
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
Mudgeeraba is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Mudgeeraba: history and local area
Farming, timber-getting and cattle grazing were under way by the mid-1870s, and a provisional school opened in 1887. The Brisbane to Tweed Heads railway arrived in 1903 and ran until 1961, and in the early 1930s unemployment relief camps were set up on Upper Mudgeeraba Creek. The name may be an Indigenous expression; one theory says it means 'low-lying ground'.
At its heart Mudgeeraba still reads like an old country village, with older houses on half-acre to two-acre blocks beside larger farms. Mudgeeraba Creek, the main creek in the southern Gold Coast catchment, runs through. The Wallaby Hotel, the Old Post Office Heritage Centre, Firth Park and the showgrounds are local landmarks, and Somerset College opened here in 1983.
Older homes on half-acre to two-acre blocks often have room for bigger systems or a separate array on a shed, though mature trees around older houses can mean careful shading checks are needed.
