Going solar in Oxenford
The northern Gold Coast is one of the fastest growing parts of Queensland, from the canals of Runaway Bay and Hope Island to new estates in Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau and semi-rural blocks around Wongawallan.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
Oxenford is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Oxenford: history and local area
William Robert Oxenford bought 160 acres in the Coomera district in 1869 and later served on the shire council. When the South Coast railway opened in 1889, the stop first known as 39 Mile Platform took his name, and the suburb followed. The line closed in 1964, and when the new Gold Coast railway came through in 1996 it went via Helensvale instead. Oxenford State School opened in 1987.
Theme parks are the headline here, with Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild both inside the suburb. In the south, the Studio Village estate leans into the film connection with Hollywood-inspired street names. The Coomera River wraps around the west and north and can only be crossed on a causeway, and the Pacific Motorway runs down the east side. Helensvale station is the nearest rail stop.
Oxenford is wrapped by the Coomera River, so homes on lower ground near the water should keep inverters and batteries mounted high, while estate homes such as those in Studio Village usually allow a simple panel layout.
