Solar panels for Sanctuary Cove, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Sanctuary Cove homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Sanctuary Cove makes about 28.4kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 43kWh. Sanctuary Cove is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Getting to know Sanctuary Cove
Mike Gore launched Sanctuary Cove in 1986 and opened it two years later, the same year the first international boat show was held here. Japanese company EIE International bought the project in 1989 but went into receivership in 1992. Mulpha Australia took ownership in 2002, and a new golf clubhouse opened on 9 April 2010.
Set on the south bank of the Coomera River near its mouth, with Coomera Island to the east, this 474 hectare gated community runs like a resort town. There are two 18 hole courses, The Palms and The Pines, a 300 berth marina, an InterContinental hotel and a Marine Village for dining. Twenty residential body corporates manage the estate, and the boat show still returns every year.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Sanctuary Cove?
Most Sanctuary Cove homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Sanctuary Cove?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Sanctuary Cove?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Sanctuary Cove 4212 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Sanctuary Cove is part of our Northern Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Hope Island, Coomera, Paradise Point, Coombabah. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
