Going solar in Chandler
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Chandler is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Chandler: history and local area
Surveyor James Warner marked a ford over Tingalpa Creek at The Rocks Crossing in 1850, and a bridge went in there in 1874. The Grassdale Land Company auctioned land in 1885, yet the district stayed thinly settled and kept much of its bush. The suburb honours former Lord Mayor Sir John Beals Chandler. Venues for the 1982 Commonwealth Games were built here, and Capalaba West was folded in during 2010.
Semi rural and largely bushland, Chandler is made up of acreage homes with Tingalpa Creek on the east and Tingalpa Reservoir to the south. The big drawcard is the Sleeman Sports Complex, home to the Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler Arena and the Anna Meares Velodrome. There is also a theatre, a park and ride and a waste transfer station on Tilley Road. Shops and schools are in nearby suburbs.
Acreage blocks give room for larger arrays, including ground mounts away from bushland shade, and the more remote rural feel makes battery backup appealing for households wanting to ride out storm outages.
