Going solar in Ransome
Brisbane's bayside east, from Wynnum and Manly through Tingalpa and Wakerley, mixes breezy bayfront homes with quieter family streets, and salt air near the water is a real design consideration.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Ransome is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Ransome: history and local area
Charles Horace Ransome ran a sawmill here, selling firewood to Brisbane households and the Queensland Railways Department, and the suburb carries his name. He died in November 1948. The name and boundaries were only formalised in August 1975, and to this day most of the land has never been subdivided for housing.
Only 429 people lived here in 2021, spread across 4.8 square kilometres between Moreton Bay and Tingalpa Creek. Houses are clustered along Rickertt Road and Molle Road, while Ransome Reserve covers the undeveloped foreshore and two small unnamed islands. The Cleveland line passes through bushland without stopping. Tingalpa Creek Conservation Park and nine small public parks round it out.
Larger blocks bordered by bushland can have trees close to the house, so a shade assessment is important. Being near the bay, corrosion-resistant fixings are sensible, and a battery adds backup on the semi-rural edge.
