Going solar in Heritage Park
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben.
Logan mixes established family suburbs, fast-growing estates like Yarrabilba and Park Ridge, and acreage around Jimboomba and Greenbank. Big households and big air conditioning loads make solar and batteries pay back quickly here.
Heritage Park is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Newer homes in Heritage Park usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

Heritage Park: history and local area
Joseph Shirley and William George were the first settlers here, on ground that is now the landfill, back when the area belonged to Browns Plains. Suburban housing started going in from 1985. The developer suggested the name Heritage Park, and it was formally adopted in 1991. The Browns Plains Presbyterian Church followed in 1995 on a ten acre site on Waller Road.
Heritage Park is a residential suburb of just under 5,000 people. The Browns Plains Waste and Recycling Facility on Recycle Way is the area's best-known site. Isle of Ely Park, Koala Park and Spurway Park provide local green space. There are no schools inside the suburb, so primary students go to Regents Park or Browns Plains, and secondary students to Browns Plains State High School.
Homes built from 1985 onward are now old enough that original inverters or early small systems may be due for replacement, a good moment to look at adding storage.
