Going solar in Lindum
Brisbane's bayside east, from Wynnum and Manly through Tingalpa and Wakerley, mixes breezy bayfront homes with quieter family streets, and salt air near the water is a real design consideration.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Lindum is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Lindum: history and local area
Long before the suburbs, Lindum was a camping place for Jagera and Quandamooka people, used until the 1890s. Its Aboriginal residents also worked on the farms and vineyards set up nearby from the 1860s. A Methodist Sunday school opened in 1914 and a Baptist church in 1920, and Lindum State School followed in 1954 as post-war housing spread across the area.
Lindum is a neighbourhood in the north-west corner of Wynnum West rather than a suburb in its own right. Its train station sits on the Cleveland line, with services into the city and out to Cleveland. The former Lindum Baptist Church is heritage listed, and Wynnum Plaza and Bomparpin Swamp are both within the wider suburb.
Homes around the station tend to be established houses on suburban blocks, where a simple north or west facing array and a modest battery can cover much of a household's evening usage.
