Solar panels in Ransome, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Ransome, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Ransome homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Ransome makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Ransome is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's bayside east, from Wynnum and Manly through Tingalpa and Wakerley, mixes breezy bayfront homes with quieter family streets, and salt air near the water is a real design consideration. From Ransome to nearby Wakerley and Thorneside, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Ransome
Charles Horace Ransome ran a sawmill here, selling firewood to Brisbane households and the Queensland Railways Department, and the suburb carries his name. He died in November 1948. The name and boundaries were only formalised in August 1975, and to this day most of the land has never been subdivided for housing.
Only 429 people lived here in 2021, spread across 4.8 square kilometres between Moreton Bay and Tingalpa Creek. Houses are clustered along Rickertt Road and Molle Road, while Ransome Reserve covers the undeveloped foreshore and two small unnamed islands. The Cleveland line passes through bushland without stopping. Tingalpa Creek Conservation Park and nine small public parks round it out.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Ransome?
Most Ransome homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Ransome?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Ransome?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Ransome 4154 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Ransome is part of our Brisbane Bayside East service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Wakerley, Thorneside, Lota, Manly West. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
