Going solar in Everton Park
Brisbane's west takes in leafy riverside suburbs like Indooroopilly, Kenmore and Chapel Hill, the Centenary suburbs, and hillier, tree-lined streets around The Gap, Ashgrove and Ferny Grove where shading needs careful planning.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Everton Park is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Everton Park: history and local area
Pioneers William James and Ambrose McDowall called their home Everton, after the Liverpool suburb, and a later estate carried that name. In the 1890s the township here was Bunyaville. The school opened as Bunyaville State School in 1934 and was renamed Everton Park in 1954. A high school followed in 1961, and the library first opened in 1965 before moving to a new building in 2024.
Kedron Brook runs through this largely residential suburb, about 8 km north of the city. Around 10,100 people live here, and in 2011 more than a quarter lived in semi-detached or higher-density homes. There are a dozen parks, including John Tucker and Teralba, plus four schools. There is no big shopping centre within its borders, so locals use Brookside in Mitchelton.
Detached houses can take a standard rooftop system and battery, while residents in the semi-detached and higher-density homes should start with strata approvals and a look at how much roof each dwelling can claim.
